Alexus was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. She has a passion for financial literacy and advocates for it to be put in the academic curriculum for children. It is truly her passion to educate and provide financial resources to her community. She is an advocate for homeownership and credit. Alexus wants all communities especially people of color to have the same opportunties as anyone else. It starts with us, schools, parents and our peers to teach one about credit and financial literacy overall. Alexus has earned her BS degree in health and human services. She is currently studying at U of M where she will have an MSW degree is August 2023.
